MERCY Malaysia Offers Donations and Support for Japan Earthquake.

On March 17th, AMDA received a courtesy call by an executive member of Malaysian NGO, MERCY Malaysia, who visited Japan to investigate how they could support the suffers of the Japan Earthquake, and appreciated the donation for AMDA's relief activities. AMDA and MERCY exchanged ideas on further prospects and possible areas of collaboration.

For the meantime, MERCY has agreed to support AMDA especially in the field of psychological treatment to the sufferers of the earthquake and tsunami. MERCY, having established in 1999, has provided a platform for Malaysians to engage in humanitarian aid activities in their country and overseas. MERCY is now calling for donation for Japan and going to launch the Japan Earthquake Relief Fund in the near future.
