A surgeon from AMDA Afghanistan came to Japan for the training at Okayama Saiseikai General Hospital for two months (September to November 2012) through a program called "Local to Local" funded by Okayama Prefecture.
Thanks to generosity of Okayama Saiseikai General Hospital, an ultrasound machine was donated to Japan-Afghan Friendship Clinic where the trainee works at. At the end of December 2012, the machine has safely arrived at the hospital.
